Martingale Collar
Martingale collars are considered by many as the humane collar amongst the different types of dog training collars. This collar is fitted with a steel 'eye' on both ends. A small chain is then looped around the two 'eyes' with its ends held together by a smaller loop where the leash is connected. Unlike other collars, martingale collars can give you control over your dog without choking it. It is commonly used on dogs whose heads are smaller than their necks.
